Advocate Health's Atrium Health Lake Norman Radiology Nursing department is seeking a PRN, part-time RN to join a dynamic team. The role involves a variety of procedures, including interventional and diagnostic services, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

PRN staff must meet a minimum of 32 hours within a six-week scheduling period. Ideal candidates have 1 year of nursing experience in high-acuity settings (ICU/ED/Telemetry/Cardiac PCU), current BLS, active RN license, and

Qualifications

• Experience in high-acuity clinical settings (ICU/ED/Telemetry/Cardiac PCU) preferred.
• Current ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong IV placement knowledge and skills required or demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and delegation within the team.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and contributes to unbiased patient care.
• Appropriately delegates to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
