Job summary

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for MRI. The MRI nurse will care for patients undergoing routine and urgent imaging, with a focus on postoperative and neurological cases. The role requires collaboration with radiology professionals and administration of moderate sedation as needed.

Shift: Sun/Mon/Tues 7pm-730am. ICU or ER nursing experience is required; BSN is mandatory, along with BLS and ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and PA RN license.
• Current ACLS and BCLS certification required.
• ICU or ER nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients undergoing routine and urgent MRI procedures.
• Provide care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with physicians and radiology technologists to coordinate care.
• Administer moderate sedation as part of imaging procedures.
• Support patients and families throughout imaging processes.
