Jefferson Einstein Hospital is seeking to add a fellowship-trained Nuclear Radiologist to our Radiology department, led by Chair Dr. Ryan Lee, in historic Philadelphia!

Job Description

Department Overview

1. More than 400,000 cases per year
2. 6 MR scanners, including two 3T units
3. 9 CT scanners with interactive software and a dual energy spectral scanner
4. State-of-the-art Philips Epiq ultrasound scanners
5. Web-based Fuji PACS with an internal IT team
6. Home workstations with flexible work shifts
7. Nuance, Vocera, Qgenda, Montage
8. AI collaboration with several companies
9. 30 FTE radiologists
10. 7 Dual Head Gamma SPECT cameras
11. 1 PET/CT scanner, with remote reading for a second PET/CT at an associated Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility
12. 4 Board Certified Nuclear Imagers (0.5 FTE)

Responsibilities include:

• Clinical proficiency in all aspects of nuclear medicine including:
• Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Uptake studies
• Cardiac Nuclear Medicine
• Neurologic Nuclear Medicine
• Nuclear Medicine Therapy, including I-131 low and high doses
• Preferably also Y-90 microspheres Therapy
• Preferably also Radium-223 Therapy
• Preferably also Nuclear Medicine Theranostics
• Oncologic PET/CT
• Preferably also Cardiac PET/CT
• Preferably also Neurologic PET/CT
• Participation in multidisciplinary conferences
• Teaching: Premier Radiology Residency (26 Residents)
• Participation in research and educational activities, including mentorship, supervision, and teaching of medical students and residents
• Involvement in the new IR/DR Residency
• Academic affiliation through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University
• Engagement in a robust peer learning program with opportunities for academic QA activities

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completion of an accredited radiology residency
• Appropriate licenses and certifications
• Board certification by ABNM in Nuclear Medicine or ABR in Nuclear Radiology
• Participation in Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
