Description:The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.The technologist will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed.The technologist will help facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow.Demonstration of flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses is expected.The technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance.Participation in quality assurance activities and resolution of issues related to image processing and the image archiving system is required.Ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within the scope of licensure are expected.Adherence to and maintenance of expected imaging competencies as outlined by management is essential.Observance of radiation, personnel, and patient safety measures is mandatory.The technologist will maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals used in the department.Daily logs and periodic tests must be completed as required by the license.Behavior and communication skills must align with organizational mission, values, and culture.
