UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Medical Assistant I to support the radiology team by preparing patients for procedures and assisting staff as needed. The role emphasizes patient confidentiality, teamwork, and smooth department operations to ensure high-quality care.
The ideal candidate will provide basic clinical support, work collaboratively with clinical and support services, and uphold privacy and confidentiality in all patient records and treatment details.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Radiology, Operations Supervisor and the clinical direction of the section Team Leaders, the Radiology Medical Assistant I is responsible for basic clinical duties needed in preparing a patient for a Radiology procedure. The Radiology-MA I works collaboratively with the clinical and support services teams to assure efficient and effective operations in the department while maintain confidentiality of all patients’ records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by the policies and procedures of the department. Patient and family-centered care is essential to this role.
High school graduate with good interpersonal and computer skills.
One to three years experience in a medical office setting preferred
