Job summary

Carolina Family Health Centers in Wilson, NC, is seeking a Radiology Manager to oversee staff, schedules, and imaging quality across the radiology service. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient patient throughput in a nonprofit FQHC setting.

The role collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer, covers hiring, protocols, equipment maintenance, and IT integration with EHR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a radiography program accredited by the JRCERT. MQSA required education.
• One year of healthcare operations supervisory experience preferred; three years acceptable.
• Experience as a technical administrator for EHR, PACS, and dictation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff, manage staff schedules, and ensure safety and image quality.
• Maintain and monitor equipment; optimize patient throughput for radiology services.
• Hire radiology staff and develop department protocols and procedures.
• Coordinate with IT/HIT, radiologist groups, and CMO to ensure timely, accurate reports.
• Direct day-to-day operations and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
