Job summary

Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiology Department Manager to lead operations and ensure high-quality, cost-efficient radiology services. You will collaborate with off-site radiologists and physicians to set objectives, policies, and performance standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, QA testing of equipment, staff training, and scheduling coordination, with emphasis on efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required within 5 years of hire.
• CT - ARRT certification preferred upon hire.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and continually evaluates the overall services of the department.
• Maintains records for QA, Joint Commission, OSHA or legal requirements.
• Assists in preparing the departmental budget and achieving cost objectives.
• Collaborates with leadership to improve efficiency, staffing, and processes.
• Performs quality control testing and QA reports on radiology equipment.
• Coordinates staff training and orientation.
• Manages staff scheduling to maximize department efficiency.
• Supports computer system implementations and integrations.
• Develops in-service information on new technology for staff.
• Interviews, hires, develops, trains, and coaches staff.
