Radiology Manager

Full-Time Day shift at Monmouth Medical Center’s Radiology-Diagnostic Department. Pay range: $102,886.19 – $164,617.90 per year (anticipated salary if hired to work in New Jersey).

The above reflects the expected annual salary range for this position. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will depend on educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Regional Director of the Radiology Services, the Manager coordinates patient scheduling, staff schedules, radiologist schedules, medical record functions, maintenance, billing concerns, and overall radiology operations. The Manager interviews potential clerical applicants, provides orientation to new clerical employees, assists with employee evaluation completion, reconciles all charges including support to professional billing and coding, collaborates with HIM and the Centralized Billing Office to resolve patient billing, reviews and finalizes payroll for staff, and develops, directs, and coordinates all operations to assure efficient and high‑quality patient care in the Imaging Center. The Manager ensures accurate completion of all related forms and records, supervises all staff within the department, collaborates with the Modality Supervisor and Regional Director, and oversees coordination of services within the building/facility. The Manager works with VP Clinical Operations to identify operational and safety issues and ensures they are properly addressed by security, facilities, materials management, and other services as needed, including engineering, housekeeping, parking, and patient experience departments. The Manager ensures the Imaging Center complies with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations and that all facility regulations are maintained.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
5 years experience in a healthcare managerial role
ARRT certification

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred
Experience preferred: 5 years in a healthcare managerial role, preferably in the Radiology division
Knowledge of billing and coding
