Aneurin Bevan University Health Board seeks a Radiology Manager to lead the general radiography service in Newport. This full-time role involves staff management, budget oversight, and ensuring high-quality service across multiple sites, contributing to strategic healthcare goals and enhancing patient care.
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic leader to fill the role of Radiology Manager.
The post is full time permanent contract based at Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, with a requirement to work across other Aneurin Bevan sites and attend regional and national meetings.
The Radiology Manager will managerially and operationally lead the general radiography service across ABUHB. This will involve managing staff and equipment on multiple sites in the Health Board. They will take responsibility for the general radiography service and provide guidance to the staff working within it; have an expert knowledge, understanding and interest in general radiography.
The Radiology Manager will be required to work with the senior management team and key stake holders to deliver high quality, value for money, Radiology service. Manage, co-ordinate and when required, participate in the provision of the service throughout the Directorate. This will include budgetary and workforce management and monitoring and effective use of resources and equipment.
The post holder will be responsible for contributing to compliance with the Welsh Government targets of Referral-to-Treatment Time and Single Cancer Pathway.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
