ARMStaffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a clinical role in New Jersey. The technologist will perform diagnostic and screening mammography, assist with breast ultrasound and stereotactic procedures, and ensure quality control per ACR/MQSA standards in a hospital setting.

The position requires ARRT certification, an active Diagnostic Radiography License, and Mammography certification within three months of employment, with a minimum of two years of Mammography experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist.
• ARRT certification must be obtained.
• Active Diagnostic Radiography License is required.
• Mammography certification must be obtained within the first three months of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Handle mammographic imaging for breast needle localization procedures and stereotactic procedures.
• Assist in procedures using ultrasound guidance.
• Provide immobilization devices and select proper technical factors based on individual patient needs.
• Document procedures regarding quality control and quality assurance in compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State, and FDA.
• Prepare cases to be imaged, including chart and films.
• Assist with patient education, including pre and post-procedure instructions.
• Compile statistics for patient follow-ups, tracking breast localizations, and ultrasound examinations.
• Identify patient needs and modify care delivery accordingly.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations in compliance with ACR requirements. The role involves assisting with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and other radiologic guided procedures performed within the Breast Center.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.

• Assist in procedures using ultrasound guidance.
