Qualificações

• ARRT Certification in radiography and mammography is required.

• Experience in Mammography is preferred.

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

The Mammography Technologist performs routine and advanced mammography procedures within the scope defined by regulatory and departmental standards.

Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification in radiography and mammography
• Valid NJ State licensure
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Compliant in maintaining current continuing education credits as required by the FDA/MQSA and ACR
• Previous Mammography experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem scheduling
• Day Shift
• Must be willing to cover other JW Breast Center sites as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Performs routine mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast biopsies as required. DEXA scan procedures and general x‑ray's as required. Knowledge of QC for all mammography equipment. All technologists are required for coverage at satellite offices as needed.
• Assists in maintaining QA and PI functions as directed. Understands and utilizes effective infection control, such as hand washing and universal precautions.
• Reviews last mammography exam in McKesson PACS and reports in mammography RIS system Consults Radiologist and/or other.
• Maintains technical competency in all digital technology related to mammography services: Mammography RIS, McKesson technology.
• Accesses and enters computer data for various patient and information requirements. Knowledgeable of McKesson PACS and the Mammography RIS system.
• Assists physician in coordinating information, materials and supplies before, during and after exam.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Duties as assigned and cross coverage for any other JWBC facility.
