  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Overview

Saint Michael's Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist (ARRT Mammo) to perform screening and diagnostic mammography in an acute care hospital setting. The Mammo Tech / Radiologic Technologist will provide exceptional patient care, ensure high-quality breast imaging, and maintain compliance with ACR, state, and federal regulations. The role includes image processing, PACS transmission, quality control, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography exams per department protocol.
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition, processing, and PACS transmission.
  • Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care.
  • Participate in QC/PI activities and ACR compliance.
  • Maintain mammography equipment and department supplies.
  • Escalate equipment or service issues to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Proficient computer skills.

The current compensation range for this role is $36.78 to $47.44 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
