Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology / Mammography Technologist to join its outpatient preventive medicine team in Dallas, TX. The technologist will perform mammography, X-ray, DEXA bone density, and DEXA body composition examinations, ensuring patient safety and a high-quality experience.

This role requires ARRT registration and Mammography certification with Texas licensure. New graduates may be considered if they have obtained the required Mammography certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography - RT(R)(M).
• Current Texas state license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of mammography, radiography, and DEXA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, X-rays, DEXA bone density, and DEXA body composition scans.
• Prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures.
• Review patient history and relevant clinical information.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations.
• Conduct monthly X-ray quality-control procedures.
• Monitor mammography patients requiring follow-up imaging or procedures, including biopsies, MRI, ultrasound, and other examinations.
• Contact outside medical facilities to obtain prior reports, images, and studies needed for comparison or completion of current examinations.
• Address equipment issues through appropriate service personnel and notify the Imaging Director.

Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who is ARRT registered and Mammography certified and enjoys working in a professional, patient-centered environment.
