About the Role:

The Mammography Technologist-ARRT (M) plays a critical role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases by performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures. This position requires the technologist to operate specialized mammography equipment to capture detailed breast images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The technologist collaborates closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate imaging that supports effective diagnosis and treatment planning. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
  • Valid state licensure or certification as required by the state of employment.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program with clinical experience in mammography.
  • Strong knowledge of mammography equipment operation, radiation safety, and patient positioning techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging center setting.
  • Additional certifications such as Breast Ultrasound or Quality Assurance in Mammography.
