Baptist Health's BHMG Occupational Medicine Newtown Pike is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant with LMR experience or as a new graduate to join their team in Lexington, KY. You will assist in clinical tasks, collect patient data, and support radiologic procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, documenting vitals and EMR data, performing radiographic exams as needed, and maintaining supplies.

Competenze

• LMR experience and radiology exposure are required or welcomed.
• Active ARRT certification and KROC within 90 days of hire.
• Basic life support (BCLS) certification required.
• Experience with x-ray imaging, digital imaging and RIS systems.

Mansioni

• Effectively communicates with patients to determine health changes and records in EMR.
• Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in department.
• Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
• Performs radiographic exams as required.
• Collects patient histories and coordinates with others as needed.
• Maintains patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
• Maintains supplies and equipment in exam rooms and prepares room after each patient.
• Assists physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests and procedures.
• Accurately obtains and records vital signs and reports abnormal readings.
• Performs clerical duties including preparing patient education materials and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications.
