Job summary

BHMG Baptist Health Medical Group Inc. is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant with LMR for the Fern Valley Occupational Medicine site in Louisville, KY.

The role supports physicians and staff by collecting patient information, performing select procedures, and providing direct patient care. You will perform EKGs, venipunctures, pulmonary testing, and radiographic exams, maintain equipment and room readiness, assist during exams, and uphold infection control and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Limited Radiographer Certification required; RT license may substitute for LMR.
• Minimum two years of LMR and direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, venipunctures, pulmonary function testing.
• Obtain vital signs and record patient data accurately and legally.
• Carry out radiographic exams and ensure film quality and radiation safety.
• Assist physicians during exams; prepare rooms and supplies.
• Uphold infection control and chart/document accordingly.
• Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages.
