Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking a Radiology IT specialist to support the lifecycle of radiology information systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain system availability. The role requires Epic Radiant certification, a relevant health IT degree, and 3-5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities include planning, design, testing, and production support, along with documentation and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Recent and in-depth knowledge of Radiology and Imaging systems functionality.
• Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area.
• Epic Radiant Certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of the system development lifecycle: planning, design, testing, implementation and production support.
• Maintains application integrity and supports regulatory compliance.
• Develops documentation and ensures high system availability while delivering exceptional customer service.
