Job summary

Cynet Health in Monroe, NC seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will scrub and record cases in a fast-paced environment, performing 2–3 procedures in the morning, with potential overflow.

The department supports 7 prep/recovery bays and 2 labs; responsibilities include vascular studies, device placements, arteriograms, nephrostomy tubes, UAE, and other IR procedures, with on-call potential and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Licenses: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS.
• EPIC/Encompass experience required.
• Must be comfortable scrubbing and recording cases.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and record interventional radiology cases with RN support.
• Perform 2–3 procedures in the morning with possible overflow.
• Handle vascular work including arteriograms and nephrostomy tubes.

Description:We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech.This position involves working in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.The department has 7 prep/recovery bays and 2 labs.The flow typically involves performing 2-3 procedures in the morning.If there are no afternoon cases scheduled, the lab is used for procedural overflow.Common patient types include cardiac, device placements, and vascular procedures.Tasks may include pacemaker insertion, ports, PICCs, arteriograms, nephrostomy tubes, and UAE.The role also includes heavy vascular work such as lower extremity angiograms and occasionally upper/fistulagrams.Interventional cases include PE, DVT, thrombolytics, and fistula creation.Technicians must be comfortable scrubbing and recording cases.A circulating RN will support during procedures.The department comprises a small team of approximately 20 staff members.Leadership and support will be available within the department.Technology and equipment used include an electronic medical record system.Additional equipment includes IV pumps and imaging devices.Technicians may occasionally float to other areas as needed.There are no weekend shifts; however, on-call responsibilities may arise based on departmental needs.Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
