The role requires a WV license/ARRT, BLS and ACLS, plus minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience and proficiency with X-ray equipment. Typical cases range from 2 to 9 per day; schedule is 10-hour days on a 13-week contract.

Description:This role focuses on supporting Cath Lab and peripheral procedures.The unit consists of several suites and holding rooms.Average cases per day range from 2 to 9, with an average of 4 to 5 cases.The EMR/Equipment utilized includes "Cupid" (EPIC & Dynamics System Xper).The team comprises both RNs and techs, with resource nurses managing the flow of the day and assignments.Techs are expected to maintain the same call and response time as RNs.Weekend requirements are consistent with those of RNs.Attendance during holidays is covered by call.Provided scrubs will vary by role, with specific colors designated for RNs and Rad Techs.Pharmacy support is available 24/7, with specific medications mixed in the lab.Common cases include all cardiac adults, with a focus on peripheral interventions, cardiac catheterization, PCI, and devices.Experience with automatic injectors and IABP, IVUS is necessary but training will be provided if unfamiliar.
