Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - IR Tech for a 13-week assignment in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on interventional radiology procedures and patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a CA Radiography license, ARRT (Radiography) and BLS certification, with EPIC experience and at least 1 year of prior IR/ radiology experience; candidates comfortable floating within the facility are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • CA Radiography license required.
  • ARRT (Radiography) certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in radiology/interventional procedures.
  • EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret dysrhythmias and perform interventional procedures such as adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, and chemoembolization.
  • Set up equipment and maintain sterile fields while scrubbing and circulating during procedures.
  • Assist with vascular closure systems and other interventions.
  • Provide care to patients across all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Float within the facility based on patient census.
  • Maintain daily census around 20 patients in four procedure rooms.

Description:The Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist will work Monday through Friday.The schedule may vary based on operational needs.Call is required 1-2 days per week and one weekend every five weeks.Duties include interpretation of dysrhythmias, performing various interventional procedures such as adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, and many others.The technologist will be responsible for equipment setup and maintaining a sterile field while scrubbing and circulating during procedures.They will assist with vascular closure systems and other special interventions.The clinician will provide care to patients across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.Daily census is around 20 patients, and there are four procedure rooms available.Candidates should be able to float within the facility based on patient census.
