Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for Interventional Radiology in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This 13-week contract position supports a dynamic IR department with imaging procedures, patient care, and coordinating medications as needed.

Day shift consists of 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Qualifications include ARRT certifications, Nebraska licensure, and ACLS/BLS. Prior IR tech experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Interventional Radiology imaging experience required.
• Current ARRT Radiography certification.

Job Description

The Special Procedures Technologist plays a crucial role in the Interventional Radiology department, supporting a variety of procedural interventions. This position requires a well-versed individual in imaging techniques and patient care, ensuring high-quality standards in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with imaging procedures in the Interventional Radiology department.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to administer medications and care as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it functions correctly for optimal imaging results.
• Document all procedures accurately in patient records.

Required Experience

• Must have Interventional Radiology tech experience.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in Special Procedures (within 18 months of hire).
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Licensed as a Medical Radiographer in the State of Nebraska.
• American Heart Association's ACLS and BLS for Healthcare Providers certified.
