Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Radiation Information Support Associate to manage radiology image imports and records within the Department of Radiology. The role involves importing images into McKesson, archiving, CD requests, and coordinating with facilities for reports and records.

Experience of four years in radiology image management and PACS workflows is required, with an HS diploma or an associate degree in a related field. Evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in supporting Radiology image management and PACS workflows.
• Education requirements include a High School Diploma or an Associates Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Imports images into McKesson and processes image archival.
• Maintains electronic records and manages document transfers.
• Communicates with other facilities to obtain image reports/records.
• Creates new patient image records and merges outside images with existing accounts.
