Scope

This project will standardize and rationalize radiology and cardiology clinical imaging platforms across the firm’s markets. Hospitals currently have standalone PACS for cardiology and radiology; the project will standardize and rationalize these on the IBM Watson Health imaging suite (MERGE PACS for cardiology and MERGE PACS for radiology). Archives will be hosted in IBM Data Centers. This is a hybrid cloud implementation with portions of images stored in IBM’s cloud and on-premises business continuity hardware deployed in each market to provide backup in case of hosted environment failures.

Location: Fully remote with travel to go-live sites as described above.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Must Have: 2+ years of experience with MergePACS or Change Healthcare.
  • Must Have: 5+ years of experience as a PACS Admin or Implementation Analyst focused on Radiology implementations.

  • Must Have: Very strong troubleshooting skills; experience migrating thousands of modalities is a plus.

  • Must Have: Preference for candidates in EST, MST, CST; open to PST for exceptional candidates.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Nice to Have: Understanding of hanging protocols and migrations.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with Change Healthcare.

Two critical areas of experience will be discussed with each candidate: practical and recent experience with MERGE PACS hanging protocols for Radiology; creating worklists and go-live with strong PACS experience; very strong troubleshooting skills; and having migrated thousands of modalities.
