Qualifications

• Must be proficient in filing, telephone etiquette, guest relations and proper body mechanics for patient transport.
• Current BLS certification through recognized providers (ILCOR courses such as AHA/Red Cross) with manikin check-off.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the smooth flow of diagnostic studies in all modalities as needed.
• Transport patients safely from units to CT, Ultrasound, MRI and X-ray.
• Assist with preparation of patients for exams and check-in in Epic when a patient representative is unavailable.
