Job summary

St. Francis Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health is seeking a dedicated Transporter to ensure safe, timely patient transport throughout the facility. The role supports imaging areas and general hospital operations, emphasizing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport patients and medical supplies to and from the Radiology Department.
• Assist technologists with transferring patients to and from imaging tables.
• Properly manage and transport IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks, and patient charts.
• Ensure a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for patients during transport.
• Perform general messenger services as needed.
