Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Philadelphia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, while upholding ALARA principles and patient safety. You will prepare patients, verify orders, and document procedures for licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities include using imaging protocols, ensuring data quality, assisting with procedures both in and outside radiology settings, and educating staff and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Able to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures in diverse settings.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical information confidentially.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality image acquisition.
• Prepare/administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and supervise students and healthcare providers.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.
