Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Level I (Per Diem) to perform complex radiologic procedures and obtain high quality diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure. The role requires independent judgment, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with radiologists and staff.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, positioning patients, maintaining records, and supporting interventional imaging as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/ diagnostic imaging program.
• ARRT registered; Florida General Radiographer license; CPR and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and examine orders for radiologic scans and note special requirements.
• Position patients and operate radiologic scanners per protocol.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices to minimize exposure.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and IV/contrast if applicable.
• Maintain patient records and support department operations.
