Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of formal education or training beyond high school diploma or GED.
• Must have completed one year of two year accredited radiology training program; has not yet graduated.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Identifies each patient and reviews requisition for consistency.
• Prepares patient and explains procedure while performing studies.
• Records pertinent data on radiologic requisition at all times.
• Ensures proper film identification and orientation on all images; consults with staff when needed.
• Uses appropriate devices to obtain permanent records of examinations.
• Assesses patient condition and ensures safety with restraints and support devices.
• Recognizes electronic equipment limitations.
