Job summary

Mobridge Regional Hospital in South Dakota is seeking a limited scope radiology operator to perform radiographic examinations within trained scope and state regulations. You will obtain quality diagnostic images while delivering safe, respectful, and compassionate patient care.

Collaborating with radiologists off site, radiologic technologists, and physicians, you will support efficient imaging services under on-the-job training and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion or on-the-job completion of an approved limited-scope radiography program.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EMR and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited-scope radiographic examinations within approved areas and in line with laws and facility protocols.
• Verify physician orders and patient identification before exams.
• Obtain and document patient history and relevant clinical information.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide positioning and breathing instructions.
• Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and per procedures.
