Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Pierre, SD to operate radiographic and CT equipment and produce diagnostic images under physician direction. You will perform procedures, ensure proper data and image quality, and support radiologists with timely reporting.

The role requires ARRT certification within 60 days and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification within 60 days of employment.
• Effective communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., OSHA, CMS, The Joint Commission).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures accurately and efficiently according to standards and protocols.
• Initiate appropriate interventions for exams requiring immediate attention.
• Review exam indications and report any inappropriate requests.
• Provide complete and accurate data for radiologist interpretation.
• Utilize computer systems such as PACS, RIS, HIS, and EMR; perform clerical duties.
• Archive and retrieve images, ensuring proper storage and transfer to radiologists.
• Understand medical and legal responsibilities related to imaging reports and images.
• Maintain department policies on safety, quality, infection control, and environment.
• Assist and mentor staff and students during training and clinical rotations.
• Contribute to record analysis and compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
