Job summary

Tidelands Health is hiring a Radiology Aide to help maintain the appropriate level of department flow and support patient care within Diagnostic Imaging. This entry-level position requires strong organization and communication skills and offers exposure to a busy hospital imaging environment.

You will handle IT input of physician orders, print films/CDs, route calls, assist moving patients, and document medical records with accuracy, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Computer skills required with strong reading and writing abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Previous direct patient care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging ITS module.
• Prints films and CDs for patient care needs.
• Answers and routes phone calls.
• Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
• Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.
