Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Radiology Technician Assistant to support the imaging department by transporting patients and positioning them for radiology exams.

You will assist technologists with procedures involving plain films and fluoroscopy, explain procedures to patients, verify identities, and follow radiation safety protocols while maintaining equipment and the department's cleanliness. The role is scheduled during day shifts in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program and state-specific licenses or certifications.
• BLS and ARRT-R Radiography credentials, as required by the state.
• Ability to transport patients, position them for exams, and assist with procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to imaging rooms and position them for radiology exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and verify patient identity.
• Prepare reports and maintain radiation-safety protocols.
• Assist technologists with plain film and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Maintain equipment and keep the department clean.
