YNHHS in Rhode Island is seeking a Radiology Support Clerk to assist diagnostic imaging in patient flow. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, collect information, and coordinate with technologists to ensure smooth patient throughput.

The role requires a High School Diploma, at least one year in a health setting (radiology preferred), strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• One year in a health setting, preferably in radiology.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Must have a working knowledge of personal computers, be highly organized and detail-focused and have good people skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts patients and visitors; assists the patient in dressing room and preparation for exam.
• Assists in preparing room for exam, including holding, positioning and moving patients.
• Transport and transfer patients via stretcher, wheelchair, bed, etc.
• Stocking and ordering supplies as directed
• Chaperone during examinations or procedures to provide comfort
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
