Radiology Forward is seeking a Technologist Aide to join our team in Germantown, MD. The role focuses on front-desk patient intake, scheduling, and insurance coordination while supporting radiology staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of medical office experience with intermediate computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; prior radiology/medical office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register patients, collect copays and verify information; notify arrivals and reschedule when needed.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and patient signatures; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and inform staff of changes.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized before each patient exam.
• Assist technologists with patients and protect patient information.
• Safeguard medications and patient financial information on site or portals.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
