Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Technologist Aide in Maryland to join our patient-focused team. You will greet and register patients, collect copays, verify information, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

You will also help with insurance verifications, appointment scheduling, and maintaining sterilization and privacy standards across radiology departments. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of medical office experience and intermediate computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, collect copays, verify information, and notify arrivals.
• Obtain insurance/authorizations and collect signatures; ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and communicate changes to staff.
• Ensure equipment and tools are sterilized in each department before exams.
• Assist technologists with patients and maintain patient privacy and data security.
• Safeguard patient property and health information on site and in portals.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Respect company property including cash and patient data.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
