Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff in Chapel Hill, NC seeks a Radiology - EEG Tech to perform EEG, EMG, NCV, EP, and polysomnographic testing within neurodiagnostic and sleep disorders labs.

Responsibilities include setup, calibration, test scoring, and patient history intake, with guidance provided for test preparation and follow-up. Minimum 2 years’ experience or graduate program in Neurophysiology is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience performing Sleep or Neurodiagnostic procedures if not graduated from an acceptable program of Neurophysiology.
• Must be EEG registered.
• Registry eligible for specialty areas: EEG, EP, Intra-Operative Monitoring, NCV, Polysomnography, Sleep Technologist, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic patient testing including EEG, EMG, NCV, EP, and polysomnographic testing.
• Performs room and equipment setup and placement in hospital rooms, operating rooms, or clinics.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment.
• Reads and scores neurodiagnostic and/or polysomnographic tests.
• Takes patient histories and instructs patients and families on test preparation and follow-up appointments.
