Job summary

Cynet Health in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an experienced Radiology Echo Tech to perform echocardiograms and vascular studies in an acute care setting. The role requires 2+ years of hands-on work, a license, and approved ARDMS certifications (RDCS, RVT) along with BLS.

The candidate will operate Phillips ultrasound equipment, integrate with EMR/PACS (McKesson/CHC), and join a team with four scanners in a department led by a cardiologist. Call and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Certifications: BLS Certification, RDCS, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS

Must-Have:

• Average of 25-30 scans per day
• Experience with echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, TEE's, and vascular exams, including carotid, venous, and arterial upper and lower studies
• Familiarity with EMR and/or PACS systems, using McKesson/CHC
• Proficiency in using Phillips equipment

Description:Department performs non-invasive imaging studies.The candidate will perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, TEE's, and vascular exams.The job requires no floating to other areas.The department has four scanners/rooms available.A cardiologist will be onsite.The candidate will not be responsible for starting IVs.There is a call requirement, approximately once a week.The position requires weekend call every 5-6 weeks and one holiday call.Scrubs are purple, and are not provided.The dress code adheres to department standards.The cancellation policy allows for up to four shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.The charting system used is EPIC.BSN is not required for this position.This role is situated in an acute care setting.
