Description:The role involves working in the Peripheral Vascular Lab focusing on Echo/Vascular technology.The department has 7 scanners and 7 rooms for various imaging studies.Common types of studies performed include Aorta, abdominal imaging, bypass assessments, fistulas, mapping, stent evaluations, ABI testing, as well as upper and lower venous and arterial examinations.The average number of studies conducted per day ranges from 8 to 9.Electronic Medical Records and Picture Archive & Communication System utilized include Cerner and Sectra.Department-specific equipment includes Vasculab and Philips Epig alite 1022.Radiologists are not in-house; evaluations are performed by a reading surgeon.There is no requirement for starting IVs within this role.The position follows block scheduling without self-scheduling options.On-call rotation is required 1-2 days a week and every 5th weekend.The response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes.Scrubs are provided in standard grey hospital color.Orientation specific to the department will be provided.This position encompasses both outpatient and inpatient care settings.All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
