Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Technologist for LVPG-L Clinical Imaging in Dickson City. The role provides diagnostic quality radiologic imaging under physician direction with strict radiation safety standards.

The position requires a radiography program credential, BLS, and PA RT registration on hire. Tasks include image production, safety, documentation, and teamwork to ensure patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Radiography program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology in Pennsylvania upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic quality radiographs and prepare images for interpretation.
• Ensure radiation protection and safe imaging practices.
• Verify proper exam orders, patient history and CPT codes.
• Coordinate daily work with the imaging team and maintain PACS workflow.
• Report equipment issues and assist in training new staff.
