• Understanding of radiation producing equipment and imaging protocols.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic-quality radiographs under physician direction.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and optimizes exposure factors.
• Ensures correct patient, exam, and documentation in the record.
• Maintains equipment, reports malfunctions, and coordinates with team.
• Assists education and training of new staff and students.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
