Qualifications

Summary: This position is responsible for performing imaging procedures and producing high-quality diagnostic computed tomography images.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images; maintain knowledge and skill levels to meet diagnostic expectations; complete documentation according to established criteria; adhere to policies on quality improvement, safety, patient flow, etc.
  2. Communicate and collaborate with radiology staff and other departments to facilitate optimal patient care; participate in departmental activities.
  3. Participate in training programs to develop or enhance skills; obtain and maintain appropriate licensure and certification; participate in patient and student education as appropriate.
  4. Assist in the Diagnostic x-ray department as needed.

Work Experience: At least 2 years of job-related experience (preferred)

Education:

  • Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT in Radiography (upon hire, required)
  • ARRT in CT (upon hire, required)
  • Texas MRT license (upon hire, required)
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers (upon hire, required)
