Job summary
Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join the Radiology team in Portsmouth, NH. You will work with a board-certified veterinary radiologist on digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy within a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.
Applicants should be licensed in New Hampshire with at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience and strong nursing skills.
Qualifications
- Current CVT license in New Hampshire is required.
- Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Technician experience.
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate diagnostic imaging procedures with radiologist.
- Prepare patients for imaging, including positioning, restraint, sedation, and anesthesia support.
- Obtain diagnostic radiographs and assist ultrasound/CT/fluoroscopy procedures.
- Support CT and fluoroscopy with patient prep, monitoring, and recovery.
- Document patient information, procedures, and treatments accurately.
- Coordinate imaging schedules with radiology and ER services.
