Job summary

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Radiology team. Work with a board-certified radiologist to develop advanced skills in digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy within a collaborative 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.

This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts with a rotating schedule that includes Saturdays, plus a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing diagnostic imaging training.

Qualifications

• Current CVT license in New Hampshire is required.
• Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
• Strong nursing and clinical skills including venipuncture, anesthesia support, and patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with board-certified radiologist to perform imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, provide sedation and anesthesia support as needed.
• Obtain high-quality radiographs per safety standards.
• Assist with ultrasound and CT procedures and related workflows.
• Document procedures and patient data in the medical record.
