Job summary

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA is expanding and seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will assist with advanced imaging procedures, patient prep, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication.

Ideal candidates have veterinary nursing experience, imaging experience preferred, and a passion for learning in a busy specialty hospital.

Qualifications

• Current CVT, LVT, or RVT, or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• VTS-DI or interest in pursuing specialty certification.
• At least one year of veterinary nursing experience.
• Imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sonographer and radiologist with CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Prepare and recover patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and sedation.
• Gather accurate patient histories from clients.
• Document clearly in the electronic medical record.
• Support communication and patient flow between Diagnostic Imaging and other departments.
