Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a night shift in York, PA. The role involves performing imaging studies, contrast administration, and ensuring patient safety in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility.

Minimum 2 years’ Rad Tech experience with ARRT and BLS is required; EPIC experience is preferred. Vaccinations (COVID and flu) are mandatory, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Rad Tech experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccination is required; exemptions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging examinations including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with/without contrast.
• Prepare and administer contrast media per protocols.
• Ensure PPE and isolation precautions are followed.
• Start peripheral IVs when necessary.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Job description

This position offers a night shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, from Wednesday to Saturday, 9 PM to 7 AM, with additional holiday coverage as needed.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform imaging procedures and provide quality patient care in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Candidates may be required to care for COVID patients. The ideal candidate will undergo a clinical screening process and be responsible for operating various imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform various imaging examinations including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with and without contrast.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as per established protocols.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Start peripheral IVs when necessary.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Rad Tech.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is strongly preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required; medical and religious exemptions are allowed.
• Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
