Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Naples, FL. You will perform CT scans and related radiographic procedures under a Radiologist, including fluoroscopy and portable exams, with emphasis on speed and accuracy in a busy clinical setting.

Shift is nights 7 PM to 7 AM, Friday to Sunday, with on-call 3-5 times per month. Must hold ARRT CT certification and a Florida Rad Tech license from an AMA-accredited program.

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Florida Rad Tech license required.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of head, neck, chest, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct basic radiographic and C-arm procedures.
• Assist in biopsy and drainage procedures as needed.
• Operate CT systems and maintain cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.
• Perform studies with or without contrast media.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient individuals under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include performing various radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and portable radiographic procedures, as well as demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic radiographic procedures and C-arm procedures.
• Perform CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
• Assist in biopsy and drainage procedures.
• Ensure knowledge of processing of CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Perform studies with or without contrast media.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience with Philips CT equipment.
• ARRT (CT) certification.
• Current Florida Rad Tech license.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school.
