The CT Technologist is responsible for performing routine CT exams for emergency department (ED) and inpatient (IP) patients, including trauma pan scans and specialized imaging of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities. The successful candidate will operate GE CT equipment independently and ensure quality patient care using a compassionate care model.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT exams for ED and IP patients.
- Operate GE CT equipment, including GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice scanners.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Meditech system.
- Work collaboratively with a team of technicians in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards as per accreditation guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- At least 1 year of experience in a level 1 trauma setting.
- ARRT Radiography certification is required; CT certification preferred.
- Advanced skills in performing routine CT exams for diverse patient populations.
