Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced Radiology CT Tech for a 13-week assignment in Milford, CT. The role requires ARRT-CT certification, CT license, and a minimum of two years of CT imaging experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings.

Expect 3 PM–11:30 PM shifts, with every-other-weekend rotation and on-site collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You will perform abdomen, chest, pelvis, and vascular CT studies with and without contrast, prepare contrast media, ensure safety

Responsibilities

• Perform abdomen, chest, pelvis CT studies with/without contrast.
• Conduct carotid, cervical and vascular CT imaging.
• Arrange and administer contrast media per protocol.
• Operate Siemens CT equipment and ensure device safety.
• Adhere to infection control and PPE guidelines.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Description:This position offers an opportunity for a 13-week assignment.Shifts will be from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, rotating every other weekend.There will be a day off each week to fulfill the weekend requirements.The role requires proficiency in the following areas:

• Abdomen imaging with and without contrast
• Adult acute care and outpatient imaging
• Carotid and cervical imaging
• Chest imaging with and without contrast
• Emergency department procedures
• Enterography studies
• Head imaging with and without contrast
• Heart imaging, including calcium scoring and coronary angiography
• ICU imaging
• Intravenous pyelogram
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Lumbar imaging
• Management and leadership experience
• Multiplanar reconstruction
• Musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Pelvis imaging with and without contrast
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Clienttion safety practices
• Region of interest measurement techniques
• Siemens equipment
• Sinuses and soft tissue neck imaging
• Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Thoracic imaging
• Trauma head imaging
• Vascular imaging, including chest assessments for pulmonary embolism and CTA
• Vascular CTA procedures

The facility supports interdisciplinary collaboration, including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in their specialty for submission.Return staff policy applies, requiring a two-year gap before returning as a traveler.Modules are non-billable and vary by specialty.Completion of modules is required prior to starting and annually thereafter.
