Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech for a 13-week night shift assignment in Craig, Colorado. You will perform CT exams, ensure image quality, and adhere to ALARA and safety standards under Radiologist guidance.

Description:To provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities.Ensure accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and optimal patient care.Prioritize patient education by explaining procedures, equipment, and exams.Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment.Position patients for CT scans using positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.Perform all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols agreed upon with the Radiologist.Assist radiologist with routine and interventional CT procedures.Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in exposure sequence, and label appropriately.Film and transmit to the Image Archival System.Dispense and/or order oral contrast to patients for CT scans.Demonstrate proficiency and advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures such as X-ray and Fluoroscopy.Practice radiation safety by adhering to ALARA standards.Troubleshoot equipment problems and independently call a service engineer if maintenance is needed.Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record system, including charging procedures and supplies.Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking additional shifts as needed.Obtain additional training or certification as required.Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when necessary.Assist, train, or cross-train imaging staff members as directed.Be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and work with minimal supervision.Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory.Perform other duties as assigned.Demonstrate commitment to organizational values and consistently represent the organization positively.Establish and maintain effective communication to foster positive working relationships.Adhere to attire and dress code according to organizational policies and procedures.Exhibit initiative and self-motivation to maintain a consistent level of productivity.Complete all required annual education, training, and licensure/certification updates.Actively participate in departmental and organizational meetings.Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.Report to work punctually and complete duties within established timeframes.Contribute to departmental and organization-wide quality initiatives.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain adherence to standards and policies.Follow all infection control, safety, and risk management procedures to maintain a safe environment.
