You will lead the research team, oversee study lifecycles, budgets, and regulatory compliance, and onboard staff while ensuring adherence to ethics and human subject protections. The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in clinical/research settings with supervisory experience, and a valid BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Clinical or research experience (4 years) with supervisory exposure (1 year).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• SOCRA/ACRP certification preferred; familiarity with NIH/federal trials and grant compliance.
• Familiarity with university systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day functions of the research team.
• Provide direction to clinical research personnel and oversee study lifecycle.
• Onboard, educate, and train new staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor budgets, billing, and regulatory compliance across trials.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure human subject protections.
